Health and Beauty Team Associate – Walmart, Vaughan, ON
Walmart Canada is hiring a Health and Beauty Team Associate at its store at 1900 Major Mackenzie Dr in Vaughan, ON. This is a regular, permanent hourly position in the Cosmetics and Health and Beauty departments, where the associate helps customers find products and keeps the salesfloor stocked and well presented.
ABOUT THE JOB
According to Walmart’s posting, the purpose of the role is to provide exceptional customer service and to assist in salesfloor operations in the Cosmetics department, so that customers have a positive shopping experience and keep coming back. The associate is the person shoppers can turn to for help in this part of the store, and also takes care of stocking, displays, pricing and returns in the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting customers: greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Helping customers choose: assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise and helping them make purchase decisions.
- Solving issues: resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
- Salesfloor presentation: stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged or out-of-date goods, set up and maintain product displays, and sign and price merchandise.
- Claims, returns and shrink: make sure claims and returns are handled properly, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items and keep the work environment safe, following company policies and procedures.
- Receiving merchandise: receive and stock merchandise, use equipment appropriately, and complete the required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
- Working with the front end: refer service and transaction items to a Customer Service Manager when required.
- Cosmetics presence: working in the Cosmetics and Health and Beauty departments, let customers know that a dedicated cosmetics presence is available for guidance and direction.
SCHEDULE, PAY AND REQUIREMENTS
- Job type: regular, permanent hourly position.
