Dollarama is hiring a Clerk, Import (Proforma) at its head office in Mont-Royal, QC, on the island of Montreal. This is an office role in the import team, focused on entering sales contract details and creating purchase orders and new articles in SAP.

ABOUT THE JOB

According to Dollarama’s posting, the Import Clerk reports to the Manager, Import – Proforma. The main responsibility of the role is to accurately enter the details of sales contracts into SAP, and to convert and create purchase orders and new articles in the company’s ERP (SAP) system. The role involves regular contact with vendors and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter data into SAP.
  • Follow up on repeat orders.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Calculate volume and weight, and convert measurements for shipping containers.
  • Create new articles in the ERP system.
  • Create and format purchase order (PO) reports.
  • Confirm timing, prices and the number of items with suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A college diploma (AEC) in transportation, logistics, import or a similar field.
  • One to two years of experience in a data entry or import role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with proven Excel ability.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
