ABOUT THE JOB
The Stocker helps maintain an efficient and well-presented sales floor by replenishing products, straightening merchandise, and assisting with general warehouse organization. This position involves physical work, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, merchandising standards, and customer service. It is well suited to candidates who enjoy active, hands-on work in retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and straighten merchandise on the sales floor to maintain high product availability.
- Follow merchandising standards and support display setup, organization, and replenishment.
- Move, position, and restack pallets of merchandise using approved workflow and equipment.
- Collect empty boxes, remove debris, and help keep aisles and work areas clean and safe.
- Prepare products for display by opening cases, handling packaging, and organizing stock efficiently.
- Support inventory flow by identifying products that need replenishment from upper steel storage.
- Operate approved equipment such as balers or compactors as part of general housekeeping duties.
- Provide courteous member service, including helping members locate products and load larger items when needed.
