Stocker – Costco, Windsor, ON
Costco is looking for a Stocker in Windsor, Ontario to help keep the warehouse sales floor well organized and fully stocked. In this role, you will support daily merchandising by stocking products, maintaining clean aisles, and assisting members in a fast-paced retail environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stocker at Costco, you will help ensure products are available and presented according to merchandising standards. This role includes stocking shelves, moving merchandise using approved equipment, maintaining signage, and keeping sales areas clean and safe for members and employees.
You’ll work closely with supervisors and team members to prioritize stocking needs and support efficient warehouse operations while delivering courteous member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and straighten merchandise on the sales floor to maintain high product availability.
- Follow merchandising standards by aligning products, rotating items, and returning stray merchandise to the correct location.
- Communicate with supervisors to confirm stocking priorities and product movement needs.
- Prepare lists of items to be brought from steel and coordinate with equipment operators when needed.
- Open cases, cut shrink-wrap, and handle packaging safely using approved tools and procedures.
- Move and position pallets and products using a manual pallet jack as required.
- Create and place computer-generated signs and ensure item marking and signage are accurate.
- Assist with setting up or modifying product displays for safe handling and accessibility.
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing aisles, removing debris, and supporting cardboard and waste handling processes.
- Provide prompt and courteous member assistance, including helping locate items and directing members to products.
