ABOUT THE JOB
The Food Service Assistant supports daily operations in the Costco Food Court by preparing and serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with team members to maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and member service. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a high-volume environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve hot food items such as pizzas, hot dogs, and baked goods following company standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, warmers, fryers, and dispensing machines.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change to members.
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Restock ingredients and supplies from warehouse inventory to ensure continuous service.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures, including temperature control and product rotation.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed to support overall operations.
