ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant at Costco, you will assist members with product questions, demonstrate merchandise features, and help maintain organized, fully stocked displays. This position requires staying informed about technology trends and product specifications while delivering courteous and professional member service. You’ll also collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory and merchandising standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and courteous member service, answering questions and demonstrating products.
- Explain features and benefits of electronics and major appliances to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist members with loading merchandise into carts when required.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge by reviewing manuals, literature, and industry updates.
- Follow merchandising standards, including aligning, facing, and stocking products to maintain strong presentation.
- Check and approve product signage and pricing accuracy.
- Support inventory processes, including participating in merchandise moves and restocking.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Assist other warehouse areas as needed.
