Costco is hiring a dependable Stocker to support daily merchandising and warehouse operations in Calgary, Alberta. This role focuses on keeping products well-stocked, aisles organized, and delivering great member service on the sales floor.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stocker at Costco, you will help maintain product availability by stocking shelves, straightening displays, and supporting merchandising priorities. You will also help keep aisles clear and safe, assist members on the floor, and contribute to a clean, efficient warehouse environment by handling pallets, signage, and basic equipment tasks following safety procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and straighten merchandise to maintain strong product presentation and availability.
- Follow merchandising standards, align product, and collect/return stray items.
- Move and position pallets using a manual pallet jack (as assigned) and stock product from pallets to shelves.
- Open cases, place items on shelves, and build/maintain product displays for accessibility and safety.
- Create and maintain accurate product signage, including item numbers when needed.
- Use basic tools safely (e.g., box cutter) for opening boxes and handling packaging materials.
- Keep aisles clean by removing debris, loose cardboard, and slip sheets; remove empty pallets from the floor.
- Operate equipment such as a cardboard baler or trash compactor (as assigned and trained).
- Provide prompt, courteous member assistance, including helping with large items and directing members to products.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
