ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will support daily bakery operations by wrapping, labeling, garnishing, and stocking bakery items for sale. You’ll work with prepared baked goods, ensure accurate labeling and presentation, and help maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and product quality in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove products from baking containers and apply garnishes such as icing drizzle or glaze according to Costco procedures.
- Wrap and package baked goods by hand or using a wrapping machine, including assembling packaging boxes as needed.
- Accurately weigh and label products and remove items that are damaged, underweight, or not meeting quality standards.
- Move product using wheeled racks and help keep bakery displays stocked and organized.
- Monitor the bakery sales area, restock when needed, rotate inventory, and track pull dates in compliance with food safety rules.
- Provide courteous member service and maintain basic knowledge of bakery items to assist members.
- Keep the wrapping and sales areas clean and free of debris, following all safety and security procedures.
- Assist with other bakery duties and support other warehouse areas when required.
