ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stocker at Costco, you will be responsible for ensuring products are properly stocked, displayed, and accessible throughout the warehouse. This role involves physical tasks such as moving merchandise, assembling displays, and maintaining signage, while following safety procedures and merchandising standards. Stockers also assist members by answering questions and helping load larger items when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and straighten merchandise to maintain organized and visually appealing aisles.
- Follow merchandising standards, align products, and restock inventory to maintain high product levels.
- Move, position, and stack pallets of merchandise using manual pallet jacks.
- Cut boxes, remove shrink-wrap, and prepare products for display on the sales floor.
- Create and update product signage and mark items using approved labeling tools.
- Assemble and modify product displays to ensure safe handling for members.
- Maintain cleanliness by removing debris, cardboard, slip-sheets, and empty pallets.
- Operate equipment such as cardboard balers and trash compactors.
- Provide courteous member service, assist with loading items, and direct members to products.
- Support other warehouse areas as needed.
