Walmart is hiring a Produce Stocker in Laval, Quebec. In this role, you will help maintain a fresh, organized, and fully stocked produce department while delivering excellent customer service on the sales floor.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker, you will support daily operations in the produce department by stocking merchandise, rotating products, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will follow company guidelines for food safety, cold chain compliance, and product handling to maintain freshness and accuracy.
This position requires attention to detail, a focus on cleanliness and organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the produce department to ensure an attractive and organized presentation.
- Rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items to maintain product freshness.
- Ensure merchandise is properly priced, labeled, and signed.
- Follow cold chain compliance procedures, including temperature checks and food handling standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with store policies.
- Support ordering, clearance activities, markdowns, and modular resets as required.
- Ensure the department remains fully stocked and ready for customers.
- Apply product protection measures and complete stocking or downstocking tasks when needed.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
