As an Optical Student at Costco, you will assist licensed opticians in delivering high-quality optical services. Your responsibilities include helping members choose frames and lenses, handling transactions, and supporting the preparation and adjustment of eyewear. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses based on their needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, debit, and credit payments.
- Support eyewear adjustments such as frame fitting and minor modifications under supervision.
- Handle customer orders and pickups while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Stock and organize merchandise and supplies within the optical department.
- Maintain cleanliness by performing routine cleaning tasks and following safety procedures.
- Operate basic equipment such as frame warmers and other tools when required.
- Assist with administrative tasks including order entry and record keeping.
- Provide courteous and professional service to all members.
