KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the warehouse and surrounding areas to identify safety risks, suspicious activity, or potential theft.
- Observe and detect shoplifting incidents and respond according to company policies.
- Detain and interview suspects when appropriate and permitted by company procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and document investigative findings.
- Report security concerns, internal theft suspicions, or operational risks to warehouse management.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce inventory shrink and improve security procedures.
- Maintain evidence and documentation related to investigations.
- Testify in court when required in connection with theft investigations.
- Stay informed about company procedures and relevant loss prevention regulations.
- Support team members by sharing knowledge about security practices and safety awareness.
- Assist other warehouse departments when operational support is required.
