ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will help finish and package bakery products so they are ready for display and purchase. This includes garnishing items, wrapping and labeling products, moving stock, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role requires attention to detail, safe handling practices, and a commitment to quality, cleanliness, and food safety throughout daily bakery operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Garnish and finish bakery products according to production standards and department procedures.
- Wrap, label, and package baked goods by hand or with wrapping equipment.
- Assemble boxes and prepare products for display and sale.
- Weigh and label items accurately to support consistency and product quality.
- Move bakery products using carts or racks and help restock sales areas as needed.
- Monitor product dates and support rotation and freshness standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following sanitation and safety procedures.
- Provide courteous member service and assist with other bakery duties when required.
