ABOUT THE JOB

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make sure high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
  • Set modulars (the shelf layouts): print modular sheets and labels, clean counters, install electronic shelf labels (ESL) where required, install DSM labels and link the modulars to them where required.
  • Stock a variety of departments, including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen and Fresh.
  • Follow the cold chain guidelines to ensure quality.
  • Help prevent shrink by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely way.
  • Build new counters using the kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates and the plan provided by the Lead Specialist.
  • Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
  • Merchandise endcaps, the action alley and side counters according to Walmart’s standards.
  • Occasionally work in construction areas, where steel-toe footwear and a hard hat are required.
  • Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

SCHEDULE, PAY AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Job type: temporary (fixed-term) hourly position, on the overnight remodel team.
