Tim Hortons is hiring a Trainer in Surrey, BC to support training and development across restaurant operations. ABOUT THE JOB
As a Trainer, you will help develop and support team members, supervisors, and managers by delivering on-the-floor training, coaching, and follow-ups. You may travel to multiple restaurant locations to assist with new restaurant openings, onboarding, and training initiatives. This position focuses on creating consistent processes and ensuring training tools and best practices are applied across locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support training activities across designated restaurant locations, including new openings and ongoing development.
- Work on the floor with team members to provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback.
- Assist management with onboarding and training for new team members, supervisors, and managers.
- Help ensure consistent delivery of guest-focused service and operational standards.
- Participate in restaurant openings, new hire training sessions, and internal or external audits.
- Identify training needs, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support issue resolution through training, coaching, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain clear communication between trainers and restaurant leaders regarding training plans and progress.
- Use and maintain training binders and tools, while actively contributing new ideas and materials.
- Help implement best practices and standardized training systems across restaurant teams.
