Costco is hiring a Tire Installer in Toronto, ON. In this hands-on role, you’ll support the Tire Centre by installing, balancing, and rotating tires while delivering fast, friendly, and safe service to Costco members in a high-volume environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Tire Installer at Costco, you will help keep vehicles road-ready by performing tire services and supporting daily Tire Centre operations. This position involves working with tire mounting and balancing equipment, following safety and security procedures, and assisting members with tire-related questions and service needs. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining strong quality, safety, and customer service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires according to required standards and procedures.
- Operate Tire Centre equipment such as tire mounting machines, wheel balancers, and related tools.
- Perform vehicle movement tasks safely, including driving vehicles into service bays and positioning vehicles correctly.
- Support TPMS work as required, including sensor resets or relearns using approved tools.
- Complete required checks and procedures before vehicle release, working with supervisors/managers when needed.
- Assist members by answering questions, providing service information, and supporting tire purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and wiping the Tire Centre and surrounding areas.
- Stock, tag, and organize tires and related products to keep the sales and service areas efficient.
- Process service paperwork and payments following cash handling and documentation procedures.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as necessary to support overall operations.
