Costco Wholesale is currently hiring a Tire Installer in Surrey, British Columbia. This hands-on position supports the Tire Centre by installing, balancing, and servicing tires while delivering safe, efficient, and courteous member service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Tire Installer at Costco, you will perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and related automotive service tasks according to industry and company standards. You’ll operate tire service equipment, assist members with tire purchases, and ensure vehicles are handled safely throughout the service process. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and a strong focus on delivering an excellent member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, rotate, and balance tires using approved tools and procedures.
- Inspect wheels and remove/install tires, including valve stem replacement and inflation to proper pressure.
- Reset or relearn TPMS sensors using appropriate equipment where required.
- Perform torque checks and ensure all work meets established industry standards.
- Assist members with tire purchases, provide product recommendations, and answer service-related questions.
- Create and process tire service invoices and support accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized Tire Centre, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Support propane services where applicable and follow all related safety guidelines.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
