Costco is hiring a Tire Installer in Markham, ON. This position supports the Tire Centre by installing, balancing, and repairing tires while delivering professional and courteous member service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Tire Installer at Costco, you will install and rotate tires, perform balancing and safety checks, and assist members with tire purchases and service recommendations. You’ll work with specialized equipment while following strict safety procedures and industry standards. This role also includes supporting service documentation, maintaining work areas, and ensuring accurate execution of all tire-related services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires according to industry standards.
- Operate tire mounting and balancing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles and identify service requirements before installation.
- Reset and relearn TPMS sensors when required.
- Perform torque checks and ensure proper installation procedures are followed.
- Assist members with tire product recommendations and service explanations.
- Prepare service documentation, invoices, and purchase records accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized Tire Centre environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must pass Costco Tire certification test.
- Previous tire installation or automotive service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
