Costco is hiring a Tire Centre Sales Assistant in Montréal, QC. This role supports members with tire purchases, service coordination, and sales floor organization while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant plays a key role in assisting members with tire selections, service bookings, and related inquiries. You will provide knowledgeable recommendations, prepare service invoices, and ensure tires are properly stocked and displayed. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and member satisfaction. In locations offering propane services, certified employees may also assist with propane tank filling while following all applicable safety procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in identifying tire needs and provide product recommendations based on specifications and usage.
- Prepare and process purchase and service invoices accurately.
- Handle inbound calls and appointment scheduling for tire installations and services.
- Maintain organized tire displays by stocking, tagging, and rotating inventory.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage refunds in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate with management and other departments regarding special orders and inventory status.
- Assist with vehicle intake and service area flow when required.
- Support propane services (where applicable) after proper certification.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following warehouse safety guidelines.
