ABOUT THE JOB
As a Store Manager at Walmart, you will support and lead retail operations by managing sales performance, budgets, and operational priorities. This role focuses on developing associates, maintaining high standards for safety and asset protection, and adapting store operations to evolving retail technologies and customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead store operations to achieve sales, profit, and budget goals.
- Analyze financial and sales reports to identify trends, manage expenses, and respond to market changes.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, pricing accuracy, and inventory flow.
- Oversee safety, security, and asset protection programs, including compliance with company policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador by engaging with customers and resolving concerns professionally.
- Develop and lead associates through coaching, training, performance feedback, and recognition.
- Identify high-potential talent and support career development within the store.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as People Managers and District Teams.
- Supervise Assistant Managers and support daily store execution.
- Support implementation of digital and omni-channel processes and train management teams accordingly.
