ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stockperson / Cart Pusher at Walmart, you’ll collect carts from cart corrals, parking areas, and store perimeters, then return them to designated storage locations following approved procedures. You may also support basic cleaning and maintenance tasks, respond to customer assistance requests, and follow key safety and emergency guidelines to keep the store environment organized and hazard-free.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and return shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot areas, and store perimeter.
- Follow approved procedures and complete required logs for cart retrieval.
- Assist customers with carry-outs and carry-ins and verify receipts when required.
- Respond promptly to customer requests at entrances and registers.
- Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Use equipment safely and complete required inspections before use.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures, including PPE and hazard communication.
- Support a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through compliance with policies.
