ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stockperson / Cart Pusher at Walmart, you will assist with shopping cart retrieval, customer carry-outs, and general store cleanliness. This position involves working outdoors, following safety procedures, and supporting front-end operations to ensure customers enjoy a smooth and positive shopping experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and return shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lots, and store perimeter areas.
- Assist customers with carry-outs and carry-ins, verifying receipts when required.
- Respond promptly to requests from registers and customer service areas.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including restrooms and common areas, following safety guidelines.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and operate equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow safety, emergency, and hazard communication protocols.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and reflective vests.
- Complete safety sweeps and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by adhering to company policies and procedures.
