ABOUT THE JOB
As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart, you help ensure merchandise is processed efficiently from the receiving area to the salesfloor. You’ll unload general merchandise, support overnight processing, and help maintain proper handling for temperature-sensitive items.
This position is ideal for someone who can work safely at a steady pace, follow procedures, and contribute to a team-focused environment. You’ll also support store standards by helping with basic stocking tasks and providing assistance on the floor when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and reset the receiving area to support daily operations.
- Unload trailers and process incoming general merchandise efficiently.
- Complete unloading tasks for remaining freight and help stage product for processing.
- Help maintain proper cold chain handling for refrigerated and frozen items during receiving and stocking.
- Pull pallets of merchandise to the salesfloor for overnight processing and replenishment.
- Support stocking tasks on the salesfloor as assigned and assist customers when required.
- Label and place overstock merchandise in the appropriate locations following store standards.
- Contribute to a safe workplace by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and keeping fixtures and displays secure.
