Walmart is hiring a Produce Stocker in North Vancouver, BC. This role supports the fresh department by keeping the produce area stocked, organized, and customer-ready while following food safety and merchandising standards to deliver a great shopping experience.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Produce Stocker at Walmart, you will help maintain high standards in the produce department by zoning displays, rotating inventory, checking product quality, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage. You’ll follow established cold chain compliance and food handling procedures to keep fresh products safe and appealing for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain an organized, well-presented produce department throughout the day.
- Stock merchandise and perform product rotation, checking for freshness and removing expired items.
- Ensure items are correctly signed and priced, updating labels and displays as required.
- Follow cold chain and food safety practices, including temperature recording, calibration checks, and sanitation routines.
- Adhere to food handling procedures, including sell-by date checks and safe storage guidelines.
- Support ordering, markdowns/clearance, and proper pricing and labeling processes when needed.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business, including downstocking and filling features.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, safe work environment.
- Set and complete modulars and product protection steps when applicable to maintain department standards.
