Walmart Canada is hiring an Overnight Produce Stocker in Brampton, Ontario. This role focuses on keeping the produce department organized, well-stocked, and compliant with food safety standards during overnight hours.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Overnight Produce Stocker at Walmart, you will help ensure the produce area is ready for business each day. You’ll stock and rotate fresh products, maintain accurate signage and pricing, and support proper cold chain and sanitation standards. This position is ideal for someone who works efficiently overnight, follows processes carefully, and takes pride in keeping displays clean, safe, and customer-ready.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the produce department to keep it clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Stock merchandise and complete product picks and downstocking as needed.
- Rotate inventory and check for expired or damaged products; follow product rotation and sell-by date procedures.
- Ensure all items are properly signed and priced, including markdowns and labels when required.
- Follow cold chain compliance, including temperature checks/recording and thermometer calibration as applicable.
- Adhere to food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to meet health and safety standards.
- Use proper procedures for ordering, clearance, and merchandising processes as assigned.
- Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps when required.
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and work efficiently throughout the overnight shift.
