ABOUT THE JOB
The Pharmacy Clerk Certified position at Costco helps keep the pharmacy running smoothly through a mix of customer service, prescription support, and back-end organization. You will assist patients at the counter, support pharmacists with prescription workflow, help maintain inventory, and ensure records and transactions are handled accurately. This role is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and an interest in pharmacy operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist patients at the counter with prescription pick-up, transactions, and general service.
- Support pharmacists by helping with prescription entry, filling support, labeling, and packaging as permitted.
- Maintain accurate patient information and pharmacy records in computerized systems.
- Process payments, insurance claims, invoices, and accounting-related entries.
- Order, receive, tag, and stock medications, supplies, and over-the-counter products.
- Create product signage and assist with merchandising and OTC stock organization.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in the pharmacy department.
- Provide courteous patient service while protecting confidentiality and following procedures.
