Walmart Canada is currently hiring an Over-the-Counter Associate to join its pharmacy team in Edmonton, Alberta. This hourly position focuses on supporting OTC operations, assisting customers, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and service.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Over-the-Counter Associate, you will support the pharmacy team by ensuring products are properly stocked, priced, and presented while delivering excellent customer service. You will also help maintain compliance with privacy regulations and Walmart’s operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers and provide courteous, professional service in the OTC department.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
- Support department sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
- Rotate stock and regularly check for expired or damaged products.
- Zone and organize the OTC department to meet merchandising standards.
- Follow procedures for ordering, pricing, markups, markdowns, labeling, and signage.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and free of unnecessary debris or hazards.
- Ensure pricing accuracy in accordance with Walmart’s Scanning Credibility Program.
- Assist with calibration of equipment used in pharmacy operations when required.
COMPENSATION
The minimum hourly wage for this role starts at $16.15 per hour. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience.
