ABOUT THE JOB
The Omni Customer Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in Walmart’s online operations by preparing customer orders for delivery or pickup. This position involves selecting products from different temperature-controlled areas, handling items with care, and ensuring orders meet Walmart’s quality, accuracy, and food safety requirements. Associates also support customers when needed and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and assemble online grocery orders accurately from various store areas.
- Ensure product quality by selecting fresh items and avoiding damaged goods.
- Pack and label orders correctly, following documentation and packaging guidelines.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the fulfillment process.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and perform required pre-use checks.
- Support customers by addressing questions or issues related to online orders.
- Keep the work area clean and respond promptly to spills or debris.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting efficiency, productivity, and quality initiatives.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting tasks based on daily delivery schedules and customer needs.
