Walmart is hiring an Omni Customer Fulfillment Associate in Laval, Quebec. In this role, you will help prepare online orders by picking, packing, and dispensing items with strong attention to quality, accuracy, and customer service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Omni Customer Fulfillment Associate, you play a key role in Walmart’s online grocery and retail operations. You will collect items from different temperature zones, prepare orders for pickup or delivery, and ensure each order meets quality and food hygiene standards.
You’ll also support a clean and safe work area, follow process documentation, and contribute to a positive customer experience by working efficiently and adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently pick and assemble online orders from various store areas, including temperature-controlled zones.
- Pack orders with attention to detail, ensuring correct items, quantities, and product codes.
- Verify product quality by selecting fresh items and avoiding damaged merchandise.
- Prepare and apply accurate labels and documentation (pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.).
- Optimize tote and cart organization to support on-time fulfillment while maintaining product standards.
- Balance fulfillment tasks with customer interaction, helping resolve issues when needed.
- Follow strict food hygiene and safety practices, keeping work areas clean and responding to spills promptly.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and complete required safety checks before use.
- Participate in continuous improvement by suggesting process changes that support productivity and customer satisfaction.
