ABOUT THE JOB
As an OMNI Assistant Manager at Walmart, you will support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations while helping guide associates to achieve strong results across the total store. You’ll contribute to meeting sales and profit goals, maintaining operational standards, and creating a positive shopping experience. This position may involve overseeing processes across areas such as front end, back end, fresh, and omni operations, depending on store needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support store leadership to achieve sales, profit goals, and operational targets
- Help plan, prioritize, and delegate daily tasks to ensure smooth store operations
- Implement store programs and operational initiatives while monitoring results
- Execute and monitor asset protection practices, safety standards, and compliance procedures
- Promote a strong customer experience by helping resolve concerns and improving service standards
- Lead associate engagement through communication, coaching, and recognition
- Support training and development by identifying talent and providing performance feedback
- Follow company cash-handling and merchandising procedures, including high-value items, as required
