ABOUT THE JOB
As a Member Service Assistant at Costco, you will greet members, verify memberships, assist with traffic flow at the entrance, and support receipt checks at the exit. You will also help complete routine safety and security checks throughout the building and perimeter. This position suits candidates who are professional, observant, and comfortable walking the warehouse floor and performing active duties throughout the day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome members, provide a friendly greeting, and verify membership cards at entry.
- Support accurate entry counts using handheld counters and report counts as required.
- Conduct routine warehouse safety and security checks, identifying hazards and reporting concerns.
- Maintain clean, clear, and organized entrance and exit areas.
- Check member receipts at the exit to ensure accuracy and thank members for shopping.
- Monitor warehouse access and remain alert to unusual activity, following established procedures.
- Assist members with directions, loading support, and general front-end help as needed.
- Perform perimeter checks and communicate updates using two-way radio, including after-hours door status when required.
