ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance / Cleaner at Tim Hortons in Halifax, you will be responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of the restaurant’s interior and exterior areas. This position focuses on cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail, ensuring the location meets health, hygiene, and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking supplies such as toilet paper and hand towels.
- Dispose of waste and recycling, including trash, cardboard, and recycling bins.
- Clean surfaces such as windows, doors, tables, chairs, and fixtures.
- Follow safety and hygiene procedures, using appropriate cleaning products and methods.
- Maintain exterior areas by sweeping, shoveling, raking, and removing debris.
- Assist with additional tasks such as restocking supplies or minor maintenance when required.
- Support unloading deliveries when needed and complete other duties assigned by management.
