ABOUT THE JOB
The Maintenance Assistant position at Costco is focused on keeping the warehouse in excellent condition through daily cleaning and general maintenance tasks. Team members help care for interior spaces such as offices, break rooms, washrooms, and warehouse floors, while also supporting the upkeep of the building exterior and surrounding property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Collect cardboard and trash throughout the warehouse.
- Use equipment such as the garbage compactor and cardboard baler as part of daily operations.
- Follow assigned schedules for routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Assist with the general upkeep of the building exterior and warehouse grounds.
- Carry out perimeter checks and report maintenance or facility concerns to management.
- Respond promptly to spills, debris, and trip hazards to help keep the workplace safe.
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
- Provide courteous member service while supporting overall warehouse operations.
