Walmart Canada is currently hiring a Grocery Associate for its store in Brampton, Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a retail grocery environment, supporting customers, and keeping the sales floor organized and fully stocked.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will help maintain the grocery department by ensuring products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed. You will also support a safe, clean, and customer-friendly shopping experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and organize the grocery department to maintain presentation standards.
- Rotate stock and check for expired products.
- Ensure merchandise is correctly signed and priced.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Execute proper procedures for ordering, markdowns, and pricing labels.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
- Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stock merchandise, downstock when applicable, and apply product protection as required.
- Set and complete modular displays, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
PAY & EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $17.75 per hour. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience. This role is offered as a temporary (fixed-term) hourly position.
