ABOUT THE JOB
As a General Merchandise Associate, you will support daily retail operations by providing friendly customer service, maintaining presentation standards, and assisting with stocking and product availability. You’ll help customers locate items, keep aisles organized through zoning, and ensure displays are safe and compliant with company procedures. This position is ideal for detail-oriented team players who enjoy a fast-paced store environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with product questions and purchasing decisions.
- Cover assigned areas on the sales floor and maintain strong floor presence.
- Zone and organize assigned sections to maintain clean, customer-ready aisles.
- Support stocking, replenishment, and moving merchandise to its correct modular location.
- Recover items from the customer service area and return products to the proper department.
- Assist with front-end coverage when needed to support store operations.
- Communicate with other associates to ensure consistent floor coverage.
- Follow company policies to maintain a safe work environment, including completing required safety checks and keeping fixtures secure.
- Support modular updates and merchandising tasks, including flex modulars and shelf adjustments when required.
