Walmart is hiring a Fashion Department Manager in Laval, Quebec. This role leads day-to-day execution across the fashion departments, supporting a clean, safe, well-merchandised area while delivering a great customer experience.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Fashion Department Manager, you will help drive strong in-store standards across apparel and footwear by coordinating daily tasks, supporting merchandising execution, and keeping the department organized and customer-ready. You’ll work with store leadership to plan workloads, maintain accurate modular integrity and signage, and ensure price changes and inventory routines are completed correctly.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can coach associates, solve problems quickly, and keep the sales floor and backroom running efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, helping locate merchandise, and resolving concerns when needed.
- Coordinate daily activities across fashion departments, ensuring priorities are completed on time.
- Assign associates to apparel and shoe areas in partnership with the appropriate store leadership.
- Support completion of modulars, non-modular merchandising, and seasonal feature setups.
- Ensure accurate price changes, labeling, and correct signage are in place to support a smooth shopping experience.
- Process, stock, and zone merchandise to maintain strong sales floor presentation.
- Maintain fixtures and supplies, replacing items when required and following modular guidance.
- Coach and support associates through training and ongoing feedback to improve team performance.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company procedures, including safety sweeps and securing fixtures.
