Costco is hiring an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant in Gatineau, QC to support members on the sales floor by providing great service, sharing product knowledge, and keeping the electronics and major appliances area organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant at Costco, you will help members find the right products by answering questions, demonstrating features, and explaining key specifications. You’ll also support day-to-day merchandising by maintaining displays, stocking items, organizing secure products, and coordinating with leadership to keep the department running smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt, courteous member service by answering questions and demonstrating product features.
- Assist members with loading products into carts when needed.
- Stay current on products by reviewing technology trends, product literature, and key specifications.
- Communicate with department leadership regarding quality, pricing, delivery, promotions, and inventory status.
- Maintain strong merchandising standards by stocking, cleaning, and organizing product displays.
- Face product to the front, return stray items, and help keep stock levels replenished.
- Support accurate pricing by checking signage and item markings and helping correct issues.
- Assist with merchandise moves and coordinate stocking with forklift drivers by reviewing stocking lists.
- Help manage security item lock-up and keep the area tidy, including sweeping and removing debris.
- Support returns processes by checking items and assisting with product return approval steps as assigned.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as necessary.
