ABOUT THE JOB
As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart, you will help maintain organized, fully stocked refrigerated and frozen sections while delivering excellent customer service. This position involves zoning departments, rotating stock, monitoring expiration dates, and following strict temperature control and food handling procedures. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness are essential to ensure product quality and compliance with company policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and organize the Dairy and Frozen departments to maintain a clean, shopper-friendly layout.
- Rotate stock and check for expired or damaged products.
- Ensure accurate pricing and signage on all merchandise.
- Follow cold chain compliance procedures, including thermometer calibration and temperature logging.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and cleaning procedures.
- Support ordering, clearance, and markdown processes, including labeling and signage updates.
- Maintain fixtures and displays to ensure safe and organized product presentation.
- Keep the department clean, organized, and hazard-free, removing debris and spills promptly.
