ABOUT THE JOB
As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart in Halifax, you will support the Dairy and Frozen department by keeping shelves filled, ensuring products are properly priced and signed, and following food safety and cold-chain procedures. You’ll help maintain clean, organized aisles and support daily merchandising priorities to ensure members can easily find fresh, correctly rotated items.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Zone and maintain the Dairy/Frozen department to keep it organized and customer-ready.
- Perform stock rotation and check for expired or out-of-date products.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Follow cold-chain compliance procedures, including temperature checks and safe handling practices.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
- Support processes such as ordering, clearance, markdowns, and product labeling as required.
- Maintain department features and modular presentations to Walmart standards.
- Keep the area clean and free of hazards, debris, and spills to promote a safe workspace.
