ABOUT THE JOB
As a Consumables Associate at Walmart, you will be part of a team responsible for stocking, rotating, and organizing consumable merchandise while assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will help maintain a safe and tidy work area, support store standards for signage and pricing, and complete assigned tasks that keep the salesfloor ready for customers throughout the day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance on the salesfloor.
- Help customers locate merchandise and support purchase decisions by promoting products and services.
- Stock, rotate, and organize consumable merchandise to maintain availability and fresh presentation.
- Remove damaged or out-of-date items and maintain clean, organized product displays.
- Support accurate signing and pricing while keeping shelves properly merchandised.
- Handle claims, returns, and shrink-related tasks by following company policies and procedures.
- Receive and stock merchandise, using equipment appropriately and completing required paperwork or documentation.
- Refer complex service issues or transactional concerns to a Customer Service Manager when needed.
- Set and complete assigned modular resets, including flex modulars and shelf cap updates.
