Walmart is hiring a Consumables Associate for a temporary position in London, Ontario. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced retail environment and want to support daily store operations while providing friendly customer service.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Consumables Associate at Walmart, you will help keep high-demand product areas well stocked, organized, and customer-ready. You will work as part of a team to move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, assist shoppers, and maintain a safe and clean shopping environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Assisting shoppers by locating products and providing information.
- Stocking and rotating merchandise on the sales floor.
- Setting up and maintaining product displays, signage, and pricing.
- Removing damaged or out-of-date items from shelves.
- Receiving and processing merchandise, including documentation and equipment use.
- Following company policies related to safety, loss prevention, and returns.
- Supporting modular resets, shelf caps, and downstocking tasks when required.
