ABOUT THE JOB
As a Consumables Associate at Walmart, you will play a key role in maintaining well-stocked shelves, assisting customers, and ensuring product availability in a fast-paced retail environment. This position involves merchandising, inventory handling, and customer service while following company safety and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service on the sales floor.
- Stock, rotate, and replenish consumable merchandise according to procedures.
- Maintain product displays, signage, pricing, and shelf organization.
- Remove damaged or expired products to ensure quality standards.
- Assist customers by promoting products and responding to inquiries.
- Support proper handling of claims, returns, and shrink prevention.
- Receive and process merchandise, complete required documentation, and log inventory.
- Set and complete modular layouts, including flex mod changes when required.
- Refer service or transactional issues to management when appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
