Costco is hiring a Bakery Wrapper in Vancouver, BC. This role supports the bakery department by preparing, packaging, and stocking fresh baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and member service.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper is responsible for handling, wrapping, labeling, and organizing bakery products for display and sale. This position ensures products meet quality control and food safety standards while keeping the bakery area clean and fully stocked.
You will work closely with bakery team members to prepare items for the sales floor, monitor freshness dates, and provide helpful assistance to members when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, label, and package baked goods following company procedures and presentation standards.
- Prepare products for display and ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
- Monitor freshness dates and rotate stock to maintain product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Transport bakery items safely using carts or racks within the warehouse.
- Assist members with bakery product inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Support additional bakery and warehouse duties as required.
