ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper position at Costco involves handling baked goods after production, ensuring they are properly wrapped, labelled, and displayed according to company standards. This role supports food safety, product quality, and excellent member experience within the bakery department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, package, and label bakery items by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Garnish and finish baked goods following established formulas and procedures.
- Weigh and inspect products, removing defective or non-compliant items to maintain quality standards.
- Stock and rotate bakery items, monitoring pull dates and freshness.
- Move products using wheeled racks and maintain organized work areas.
- Provide courteous member service and assist with bakery-related questions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery and sales area, following safety and health regulations.
- Support other bakery or warehouse tasks as needed.
