ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper position at Costco plays an essential role in the final presentation of baked goods. You will assist with garnishing and packaging products, operating wrapping equipment, and maintaining clean, organized, and food-safe work areas in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Garnish and finish baked goods using icing, glaze, or decorative toppings according to procedures.
- Wrap and package bakery items by hand or with wrapping machines.
- Weigh, label, and inspect products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Remove damaged or non-compliant items to maintain standards.
- Move bakery products using wheeled racks and assist with stocking displays.
- Rotate stock, monitor pull dates, and follow food safety and health code requirements.
- Maintain a clean wrapping and sales area, following safety procedures.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service when assisting customers.
- Support other bakery or warehouse tasks as required.
