ABOUT THE JOB
The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth store performance. In the absence of the Store Manager, you may act as Manager on Duty (MOD), supporting team members and maintaining operational efficiency. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring inventory accuracy, and ensuring merchandising standards align with company guidelines. You will also contribute to recruitment and training activities to help build a strong team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are clearly communicated and followed by all team members.
- Monitor inventory counts and replenishment to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ensure established merchandising practices are properly executed.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Support scheduling and daily workforce planning based on operational needs.
- Promote a positive, productive, and safe working environment.
