ABOUT THE JOB
As an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart, you will support store safety and loss prevention initiatives through proactive monitoring, investigations, and emergency response. You will conduct patrols, assist with security procedures, and help investigate incidents related to theft or policy violations. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular security patrols to ensure doors, showcases, and sensitive areas are secure and functioning properly.
- Assist with loss prevention investigations, including internal and external incidents.
- Support store leadership by documenting findings and communicating relevant information clearly and professionally.
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including evacuation protocols when required.
- Make external apprehensions when necessary, following company guidelines and legal standards.
- Collaborate with store teams to promote awareness of safety and shrink reduction strategies.
- Communicate effectively with associates and leadership to clarify issues and provide accurate reporting.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned based on operational needs.
