ABOUT THE JOB
As an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart, you will play a key role in protecting store assets, associates, and customers. The position involves store patrols, investigations, and security procedures, while working closely with store leadership to support safety and loss prevention initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily security patrols to ensure doors, showcases, and access points are secure
- Monitor and investigate incidents of financial and physical shrink
- Make external apprehensions when required, following company procedures
- Support and conduct internal investigations related to theft or dishonesty
- Communicate findings clearly to store leadership and loss prevention teams
- Assist with emergency procedures, including fire or safety incidents
- Participate in store task teams and loss prevention initiatives
- Ensure all actions comply with Walmart policies and legal requirements
