ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of bakery products using standardized formulas and procedures. The role involves working with industrial baking equipment, preparing ingredients, monitoring baking processes, and ensuring that all products meet Costco’s high standards for quality and freshness. You will also contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace while supporting overall bakery operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and mix ingredients in large quantities following Costco recipes and production guidelines.
- Operate industrial bakery equipment such as mixers, dough rollers, and baking ovens.
- Monitor baking processes to ensure consistent product quality and proper cooking times.
- Shape, cut, and finish dough for breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, including temperature checks and proper handling procedures.
- Stock and organize bakery products while ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Provide courteous member service and assist customers when needed.
- Support additional bakery or warehouse tasks as required.
