ABOUT THE JOB
The Tire Centre Sales Assistant role at Costco combines customer service, sales support, and administrative coordination within a busy retail service environment. You will help members choose the right tires, manage bookings, prepare service paperwork, and support the day-to-day flow of the tire centre. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with tire selection, product recommendations, and service inquiries.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and appointment scheduling in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and process purchase orders, service invoices, and related paperwork.
- Ring up sales and manage payments, receipts, and transaction records accurately.
- Coordinate special orders, booked appointments, and service transfers as needed.
- Maintain tire stock by tagging, organizing, and monitoring inventory on the sales floor and in storage.
- Communicate with managers, buyers, and other departments regarding order status, pricing, and merchandise.
- Support the service area by assisting with cleanliness, workflow, and general shop operations.
- Help members with additional services, which may include propane-related support where applicable and properly certified.
